How does the 14-day free trial work?
Sign up for the Starter plan and you get 14 days free — up to 2 documents per day with online neural voices and online translation. We collect your payment method at sign-up so the plan auto-renews on day 15 at €4.99/month. Cancel anytime before day 15 from your account to avoid any charges.
What happens after the trial ends?
Access is blocked until you subscribe. We do NOT downgrade to a free tier — the Starter plan is paid after 14 days. Your library and reading positions remain stored locally; if you subscribe later you pick up exactly where you left off.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from your account at any time, no questions and no retention call. Your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period and you will not be charged again. Your account and your local library stay, so you can re-subscribe later. Deleting your account is a separate action (see below).
What happens if I close my account?
Closing your account cancels your subscription and starts a 30-day window to export your data or reactivate the account. After 30 days we delete your account and operational data. Invoices are kept for as long as the law requires. The library files stored locally on your device are always yours.
Do you offer refunds?
We honour a 30-day refund policy from your first paid charge. If Auris Reader does not work for you, email info@aurisreader.com within 30 days and we refund without questions.
Can I switch between plans?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately with a prorated charge. Downgrades take effect at the next renewal date so you keep paid features until then.
What payment methods do you accept?
Major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) via Stripe. Apple Pay and Google Pay are supported on compatible browsers. Bank transfers and PayPal are not available at this time.
Do you offer education or accessibility discounts?
Yes. Verified students, teachers and accessibility-program users get discounts on Pro and Premium plans. Email info@aurisreader.com from your institutional address with a brief explanation.
